Report Painter Overview

The Report Painter is designed to enhance the maintenance of CA-IDEAL reports post migration.  The utility works by converting CA-IDEAL report definitions into XML.  The reports can then be maintained using XML. Once the user is satisfied with the report format, the corresponding COBOL code is generated at the click of a button.
